Mr. Pat McQuaid (president UCI) expresses his support to the World University Championship Cycling organization in an advisory letter, which is directed to all (potentially) participating countries.

He writes:

"On behalf of the UCI, I would like to give my full support for this initiative. We are thrilled to see this many students combine their academic life with cycling on such a high level. I hope you will send your best delegation to the WUC Cycling event in Nijmegen."
