The riders and their accompanying staff will be provided with accommodation by the WUC Cycling organization for the full duration of the event (19 untill 26 May 2008). A bungalow holiday resort in the neighbourhood of Nijmegen will serve as the "athletes village" for a week. Special attention will be given to the storage of bike equipment and the availability of a place to work on the bikes. More and more, cyclists make use of internet to keep in touch with their family and friends back home and to keep up with cycling related news as well. Therefore some sort of internet accessibilty will be provided at the accommodation.
Athletes village
The 'athletes village' is situated at holiday park “De Groene Heuvels”, in Ewijk, about 13 kilometres from the centre of Nijmegen. The holiday park is beautifully situated in a quiet environment near a large lake for recreational purposes. It consists of 205 bungalows (for 4 or 6 persons). All spacious cottages are detached, have their own kitchen and are equipped with television, central heating and terrace with garden furniture.
“De Groene Heuvels” offers all kind of activities, indoors as well as outdoors, like bowling alleys, tennis courts and a swimming pool. Furthermore there are the following facilities: restaurant, bar, cafeteria and a place for recreation. During the WUC Cycling 2008 an internet café will be situated in the main restaurant building where you have internet access on your own laptop for free.

Upon arrival all participants will be allocated to a bungalow, where they will stay during the WUC Cycling 2008. The organization of the WUC Cycling will provide them with three meals a day, transportation and all necessary information.
