Plane and train
If you come to the Netherlands by air, you can take a train from Schiphol Airport to Utrecht Central Station, where you change trains. There are direct trains to Nijmegen Central Station every thirty minutes. The journey will take an hour and a half in total.
Bus
Local buses stop on campus in the Philips van Leydenlaan, the Heyendaalseweg, the Kapittelweg and Erasmuslaan. There are several connections from Nijmegen Central Station to these bus stops. Regional buses from Wijchen, Venlo, Grave, Cuijk and Grave stop on campus. Once you have arrived at Nijmegen Central Station, the easiest way to get to the university is by bus.
Car
With a good road map, Nijmegen should be easy to find. Once you’re in Nijmegen, as from all irruption ways the Radboud University Nijmegen has been indicated on ANWB-indicators. All car parks are equipped with barriers and point-of-pay terminals.
How to get to the athletes village >
Unfortunately, the athletes villages is only conveniently accessible by car. In order to get there, travel to Nijmegen on the A50. With Nijmegen on the eastern side of the highway, take the exit to Druten (N322). Follow the directions to Druten, exiting after 4 kilometer in the direction of Bergharen.
