The start/finish of the road race (25 May 2008) is located just outside the center of the city of Nijmegen on the Nijmeegsebaan, in the surrounding of the Radboud University and de University Sports Center. The riders will start uphill towards the Meerwijkselaan. De Meerwijkselaan forms a long wavy road that leads the riders along the Heilige Landstichting, in the direction of Berg en Dal. On the Zevenheuvelenweg the cyclists will for the first time be confronted with the short but treacherous climbs on the track. Via a broad descent the caravan will enter the center of Beek Ubbergen after which an almost flat street follows. This part of the track gives the riders a view upon the Ooijpolder where the Time Trail will be held. At the end of the Rijksstraatweg a sharp (120 degrees)  turn to the left means the steep start of the Jan Dommer van Poldersveldtweg. This climb will direct the riders towards the Kwakkenbergweg where arrears can be surpassed.  The narrow descent at the Bosweg directs the riders towards the last kilometer over the Groesbeekseweg en the Nijmeegsebaan. The last 200 meters before the finish line are false flat, so not before the cyclists crossed the finish line the winner of the WUC Cycling 2008 will be known.
